Overview

Bedford House is a new build, 8 storey, residential development of 52 apartments constructed on the site of a former office block. The complexity of the design has been refined through well developed material junctions to produce a scheme that acts as a show piece of the redevelopment in the neighbourhood of Balham. The building steps down to 5 stories to the east of the site, which is formed around a shared amenity courtyard. A sympathetic proposal, with simple, strong and elegant detailing designed to enhance the local streetscape and environment along Balham High Rd.
