Overview

Shelter from the Gulf sun is paramount; shade is essential even on a marina development. The solar shading, displayed as a distinct and separate element of the built form extends down and across the resort’s private marina. It is a strong visual statement in keeping with the region’s desire to create an instantaneous landmark. Its dynamic form is based on the waves and tidal action of the coast. The massing also takes best advantage of the tremendous views from the site.
