Brief

The vision of the completed development rests with the desire to create a unified and visually consistent built environment that recognizes its urbanity and registers its connection to the city. Whilst each building will possess unique qualities particular to siting, aspect, purpose and context, each will also form part of a united and holistic vision for an overall development of robust, refined and contemporary architecture – in keeping with a balance of tranquility and vitality.

The buildings will contribute to the public realm at pedestrian level with texture and transparency, in order to create interest, legibility and accessibility as part of a wider master plan objective. This will create a sophisticated civic space and direct interaction with the river. This rich composition will create the cohesion required to generate a powerful notion of place; a family of buildings, each expressing their distinctiveness in a shared architectural language.
