Overview

Grosvenor Waterside is a new urban quarter focused around the newly restored Grosvenor Dock, enriched by the provision of first class shops, bars, restaurants and health facilities. The development consists of a series of linked spaces bounded by a variety of existing facades and new built forms. The succession of these spaces is configured to lead the pedestrian into, and through the main Civic Square to the central Dock and along the canal lock to the Basin at the south of the site. The pedestrian enjoys a succession of four linked public spaces as they proceed through the development.
