Overview

A prestigious residential refurbishment of the highest order, located in the heart of Belgravia. HdAr were first engaged as Interior Designer and have been retained furthermore as Architect to deliver this special project. The proposals have been closely twinned with sympathetic reworking and spatial planning of the internal spaces to bring back the Georgian principles and grandeur of the property which had been adapted to offices in the 1950s.

Key to the scheme is the heritage aspects and features of the existing property and the team have closely worked with the LPA on aspects of preserving and retaining as much as possible whilst providing a moderrnsied home. The project showcases the complexity of coordinating M&E into an existing building and heritage asset; delivering high end lavish interiors, navigating existing limitations of the listed building whilst successful delivering a super high prime luxury development. The interiors are classically influenced as desired by the client and pay homage to the formal regency period and style from which the building was originally built.
