Overview

The R3 Metro Line has twelve stations. There are five above ground and seven below. The elevated design for the five above ground stations utilises a repeatable and economic series of structural components to form the stations’ envelope. This pattern book is used for the three different configurations above ground and its form is repeated to create the entrances to the subterranean stations. Line R8 also has five elevated stations, and to satisfy the need to differentiate the Lines, a curvilinear solution has been developed.
